Introduction

This notice aims to inform the user about the methods of processing personal data. In line with Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), we ensure the privacy and security of each visitor’s personal data, in accordance with this statement. This is to be understood as an information notice pursuant to art. 13 of the Privacy Code and arts. 13 and 14 of the GDPR.

Types of data processed

Purpose of processing

  • PURPOSE Provide the requested service, manage contracts, handle administrative, accounting, tax and legal obligations, and respond to user requests. Evaluate user experience on our platforms and ensure correct website functionality. Send commercial communications about promotions/offers the user may be entitled to. Conduct profiling (preferences, habits, consumption choices, navigation). This may include the use of cookies (see section 14 “Cookie Policy”).
  • LEGAL BASIS These treatments are necessary to fulfill contractual obligations and do not require specific consent. Others are based on the legitimate interest of the Controller or on the user’s explicit consent, except for communications regarding similar products/services already purchased/subscribed by the user.

Scope of data circulation

For administrative purposes, your data may be communicated to affiliated companies. With your consent, they may also be shared with third parties (social media, mass retail, finance, insurance, automotive, humanitarian orgs, telecommunications) for promotional purposes.

Data transfer outside the EU

Pursuant to art. 43 of the Privacy Code and art. 44 of the GDPR, your data may be transferred to Third Parties in countries outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure adequate safeguards (such as EU Commission standard contractual clauses) are in place.

Data processing methods

Processing is carried out mainly via electronic systems (DB, CRM platforms, etc.) for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes, in compliance with the principles of legality, fairness, relevance and non-excessiveness.

Redirects to external sites

The website may use external components like social plug-ins (e.g., Facebook Like button). These plug-ins are marked by their respective social network logos. Links to/from third-party websites are present. We are not responsible for personal data requested/provided through third-party sites or the handling of authentication credentials.

Data retention

Browsing logs, if recorded, are kept for 3 months. Other data are retained for the duration of our contractual relationship and as required by law, or to protect or enforce legal rights.

Data subjects’ rights

You may exercise your rights under current privacy laws. You can request:

  • Access: Confirmation of data processing and access to data;
  • Correction: Rectification or integration of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Deletion: Erasure of unnecessary, unlawfully processed, or withdrawn-consent data;
  • Restriction: When conditions under art. 18 of the GDPR apply;
  • Objection: To data processing based on legitimate interest or for marketing purposes;
  • Portability: To receive or transmit your data to another controller in a structured format.

As per art. 7(3) of the GDPR, you may revoke your consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali in Italy). Requests may be sent via email or postal mail as indicated.
